Status Updates From Predestination Unknown

dnf at 32%. while the characters are loveable and the concept interesting, there’s only so much “condemnation of sins in the name of religious beliefs” and “racist slurs and connotations” i can stomach. there isn’t much else going on, at that, and the pacing is excruciatingly slow.

this chagrines me as i enjoyed this author’s work previously.

to say this is going in an unexpected direction would be an understatement. luckily, luther is a fun, agreeable mc and ezekiel seems to be a loveable love interest - i simply wonder what’ll push them closer towards one another than they’ve been until now.

I'm tryng to find the energy to pull through, because A) I never want to drop books when it's this early and B) It's an ARC. But I'm starting to feel really annoyed by Narrator Dude Luther.
