Yes, I do find this to be an interesting book

I love this book

A bit of a slow start - the journey is only now beginning, and so far, only the 10 main characters have been introduced.
I think that I will like this book. It's the kind of epic storytelling that I like, and I also like reading about people.

Finished the Prologue

I'm about to start year five with the Yonderfolk already! There hasn't been much about what's happening back at Earth in quite a few chapters, which makes me a bit curious. But I prefer the bits about the actual space adventures and learning about the alien race that exists, so I'm okay with that. I'm really loving Starfarers.

I feel like I'm moving through this so slowly...though I really like the story, so I'm not sure why I'm not blowing through it. It's great to be able to see what's going on with the crew on Envoy as well as what's happening back home on Earth...I can't wait until they actually find out more information about the "Yonderfolk." It seems like it might be kind of soon that they start getting some more information!

"Starfarers" was difficult to get into at first. There's a lot of science talk that it took some concentration to understand. Once I got passed the first bit and into the actual story though, I'm really enjoying it. It's very intelligently written and is holding my interest pretty raptly. Even with the science stuff that can be a bit difficult.

So far, good book.
