Read the death of the family story from start to finish. I was very interested the whole way, and it was good. It used the idea of joker knowing hero identities to set up nice intrigue, while exploring his relationship with Batman. Not great but solid intriguing read.

Just read the year zero “yesterday” and “tomorrow comics. They felt very world-buildery, however I am curious on how all the robins get to go through their arcs in just 6 years.

Just read Batman annual, and issue 11, I liked the second prospective of the issue 11 story connecting to Bruce’s announcement, and the fact Bruce keeps the rotting power grid alive. The connections in the annual were nice, to the mainline owl sorry, but I was a tad confused by the ending. I like how freeze was connected to the owls. Will be researching this issue more.

I just reread the ending of the court story, and I do like how Bruce’s lesson was how he needed to invest in Gotham to build it up, not just focus on Batman, as his initial Gotham renewal project was centered on building bases, not truly helping.

The owls story is mostly over beside the pennyworth 3 of 3. I feel confused over March’s character evolution, as well as if the talons actually planned on killing him. Why would they do that? Maybe he was just assuming? I appeared the ambiguous nature of his Wayne brotherhood status, but I fell like his defeat (having his eyes pressed in and falling victim to an explosion he caused) to be to easy of a conclusion
