Status Updates From The Essential Vegan Toolkit

I feel bad for my cheat days. I know people are human, but reading Part 1 of the book was a real eye-opener to me about the suffering of animals for both their meat and skin ( and fur and feathers). It is amazing the pain we put everything else around us through as humans, even to each other at times. We really need therapy as species lol.

Omg... the first 50 pages go into detail about animal issues with how they are treated and killed. It's terrible how we treat our animals for consumption. How do we live with ourselves? This is partially why I went vegan. For me , it was mainly because my body rejects a lot of animal products by lactose intolerance or allergy or throwing up. It's crazy how mean and cruel we are to animals.
