It's weird to me that McGlashan would be the quaker. He's the big boss of the city, a professional mobster, no? He's gotta be something bigger than a few murders. Too big for a few murders to be what he goes away on. He can't be dumb enough to leave the bodies laying around--he doesn't need attention, everyone already knows and fears him. Calling that the cop handling Stokes is the killer & framing McGlashan. Levein.

Okay, I've been in a reading slump, but I'm FINALLY back in it. I feel bad for Paton lol. Never done anything wrong in his life (aside from all those wrong things he's done in his life), and yet he's being hunted down like some kind of criminal (a different kind of criminal than the kind of criminal he is). But like. What if him and McCormack met. And what if they maybe.. kissed? (*ﾉωﾉ)
