What the hell is this?

Questo p un ottimo libro ma si perde un po' nel finale, perde il filo della discussione iniziale spaziando in altri argomenti.

This book is really good, but makes many statements based on pieces of fiction (movie, books...) not actually real life events, which could make the statements less valid.

Questa frase ha cambiato seriamente la visione sul mondo e sulla ita che avevo. Wow. Può sembrare volgare come cosa, e sì forse lo è un pochino, ma comunica bene la differenza tra essere soggetto e oggetto.

I don't think there is a better way to say this.

This author goes also against the community of the manosphere, who say that the seduction of women is actually a passive seduction, making it feminine. They also say that women basically choose the man and that if you stay no matter what, you are going to get chosen, which means that the man (masculine) isn't just passive but also submissive to the woman (according to this community, shitty btw).

I like and agree with most of this author's opinions and statement, but I still this that some of those are partially valid because based on the experience of one person or not enough people.

I loved the biological explanation of the concept; everyone is female. Scientifically, the base gender for any mammal's fetus is female; later, with testosterone hormones, it becomes "male". And there is also a concept called "Adam's principle" which basically says that biblically Eva came from and after Adam, when in reality the situation is the opposite, and trans women actually go back to their original sex.

La transizione di genere parte dalla consapevolezza che il modo in cui una persona si identifica come soggetto non ha alcun valore. Se l'identità si esaurisse nel genere, la transizione sarebbe facile come il pensiero di compierla. Se la transizione può insegnarci qualcosa, è che il genere ti viene assegnato da altri. Il genere esiste, se deve esistere, solo nella congenita generosità ti persone a te estranee.

Per qualche ragione funziona questo libro, davvero, non sono d'accordo con tutto quello che afferma, ma ciò che dice è detto molto bene e con un ragionamento logico, che a me, sembra coerente e fluido, senza prendere nulla per scontato.

I absolutely agree with this statement.

There is also a reflection on gender identity. It starts with analyzing the way men (not all men, but always a man) want women to act. Being a female doesn't just consist of misogynist social norms, but also accepting those norms (gender is a social construct). So we can choose to be female or not. When you get assigned a gender, it isn't the expression of your sexual orientation, but the other's sexual orientation.

Drag Queens act and dress like women are requested to act according to society norms (stereotypically), sometimes exaggerating the behaviour, and I don't think there is something wrong with that. Live, Laugh and Love drag queens. But according to that, the male must demand that the female be clearly a "Woman", the opposite of "Man"; that is, the female must behave like a faggot, (this last sentence is not by me).

Quando si fa bella non lo fa affatto per autostima, ma perché si è svuotata dando per scontato che i desideri altrui siano i propri. Potremmo chiamarlo narcisismo per l'altro: la vanità come espressione del narcisismo altrui.

There is also a reflection on feminism. First of all, according to the previus comment, every woman is a female, but not every female is a woman. Everybody hates being a female, because, who would want to sacrifice everything you want for others' desires. Just hating being a female is the fundamental principle of feminism. Femminist are not asking not to be women, but not to be females (as socitecy expect).

This is what i get from the book so far. Everybody is a female, not female - woman, but female - human. Why? Really summarized females are people who sacrifice themself for the other's desaiders, and dosen't everybody do that? With that statement I don't mean that everyone is a woman with a vagina, but everyone is a female ontologically: is not anatomical, but is a human condition, and as such, valid for anybody.
