Status Updates From The Tall Book: A Celebratio...

I find it shocking how routinely children in the US & especially in Europe underwent - and still undergo - treatment for tallness: various forms of leg surgery, hormone treatment, other medications. I am glad that while I too had my hands x-rayed to check on my growth plates, I dodged this bullet thanks to my parents. These are all risky procedures and for what ultimately - a couple of inches less? So sad.

The chapter on super tall people (7' to 9' tall) is super sad. :'-(
