This is...okay. Kinda feel like I'm falling into that second book in a trilogy is depressing & angsty pattern or trope or whatever. I just feel like chunks of the beginning simply wouldn't have unfolded like they did...especially Eli's behavior. First book was great. This one...I'm hoping it improves but...the pieces are in place for that to not happen. : /
