The book is about this girls sister Cass that ran away right before starting college at Yale mysteriously and left them a note. The book talks abouts how her sister and her did not get along as kids and they fought a lot but they were twins and were friends. Her sister Cass only left her a gift when she left because it was her birthday but it was a journal and she does not know why.
