Starting my summer PD reading early
I will never forget my first day at the school I currently teach at and having a colleague tell me about balanced literacy and Lucy Caukin’s workshop model. If I only knew what I’ve learned over the past 11 years… it doesn’t work.
The main takeaway right now is that investing in curriculum is the way.
