INCITING INCIDENT: The inciting incident of the book, The Graveyard book is when Bod Owens escaped certain murder by a man from a mysterious organization named Jack. Bod Owens escaped only because of his bad toddler habits of escaping and drifting away from his family. When he ran away, Nobody then went through the fence of the graveyard and the ghosts concealed him. Also a vampire named Silas made Jack go away.

VISUALIZE: At the beginning of chapter 6, Bod is reading a book called Robinson Crusoe that he got from Thackery Porringer's grave. But later, he gets caught reading it by Thackery's spirit, and Thackery punches his ear. The books explains the stinging sensation and ringing in Bod's ear as Thackery goes away. I could imagine this feeling because I've felt it before, and it seems like the stinging would burn a little.
