An absolute dungeon-crawling nightmare…👿

Although I’ve certainly read this one before, it is less familiar. I suppose I often stopped my reread with the initial duology.

You know that thing where the main actor can't come back for the sequel so they greatly reduce their role to basically a cameo and switch up the narrative to focus more on the remaining characters? This feels like the literary equivalent of that.

I am really enjoying the new POV, especially since they've been so ambiguous the last two books, but I miss Joanna.
