It is a comprehensive study of politics and its ways of understanding it in general. In the light of what I have read so far the book is easily understandable. The writer looks at facts and conceptions from different perspectives. By the same token, he studies the object of politics comparatively. So the way makes the study understandable easier. What a pity, I'm condemned to textbooks this year. Nothing to do

This book is super biased towards western traditions and looks down on all religious (Islamic), Eastern (Arab) history. There are some conflicting ideas, too, and although the author does mention many ideas, he focuses on the ones he believes in.
Still helpful though. Love the Did You Knows and Debates...

okul için olmasa elimi sürmeyeceğim kitap. bir sürü insan bir araya gelmiş ama çeviride eksikler var. yazar da ilk başlarda her şeyi anlaşılır anlatıyordu ama sonra iyice karman çorman etti.

i gotta accept that if it s not a must for me i would not be reading this book at this rate :P but fine...

it s just like an encyclopedia but the design and the way that the things are told are great :)

sometimes i think my patience is being tested, as i have to translate so i can write down my notes. However, i might actually enjoy reading this, if it wasn't supposed to be read in such a short time.
