Status Updates From Native American Myths and L...

The explanation of some details but not others makes me think of children throughout the generations asking about certain aspects when they heard these stories. I wish though there was an edition with the original transcripts and sources for the myths with the editors walking us through their choices of what they cut out and shortened.

I really wish they did the myths by tribe or had a map of where all the tribes were in America so I could have a point of reference for creation myths specifically involving Mountains

Overall this seems pretty good, and the context of when the tale was recorded helps a lot in terms of figuring out how accurate it is from its only recorded source.

Also I find it interesting Native Americans have a rule of 4s vs a rule of 3s
