Status Updates From Burning for Them

I’m not quite sure how to take this book. I feel there is too much focus on the boyfriend/fiancé’s transgressions. I feel that the story only actually begins near the end only to find out that there is another book and I don’t know if I want to put the time money or effort into potentially wading through more paranoia before reaching a story.
