Aren’t we killing ourselves—our health, our relationships, our sense of joy and wonder—for our jobs?

We must take time to dress for our jobs, commute to our jobs, think about our jobs at work and at home, “decompress” from our jobs. We must spend our evenings and weekends in mindless “escape entertainment” in order to “recreate” from our jobs. We must occasionally “vacate” our jobs, or spend time at the doctor’s office to repair our job-stressed health. We need to plan our “careers,”....

Reading 2nd time

I was listening to the 2008 version... Turns out there's also a 2018 so I'm going to change to that one (which is this one)

the library took it back but i will definitely finish it!

I have a problem ok... instead of studying I’m reading all the finance books in one go...

Never really thought of "winding down" from work as life expenses. Interesting thus far!
