Status Updates From Kindred Spirits (Castaways #1)

It was 4am I get to Chapter 8 the exterminator part and I’m trying not to laugh out loud knowing my spouse has to get up for work in 30 mins. The bed is shaking I’m laughing so hard. It’s now nearly 6 am I really need sleep, but I’m loving this stories slow burn, but with Alexa’s comedic style I don’t want to put it down.

// I believe I've outgrown this author ... on the other hand though, I'm intrigued by what she might come up with next!! Thing is, her stories are so over-the-top, so implausible, so nonsensical, and also ... incredibly lacking, not only in a much needed POV of the 2nd MC, but also the sex scenes themselves (which are glossed over in such a way that I think she invented an even worse alternative to fade-to-black)!!!

Tissue alert!!! I'm sobbing! This spinoff series is off to a great start!

// If the guy is in his early 20s, that would make him a young MAN!! The fact that he's referred to as a BOY is a little odd to me and I find it curious that the author refers to him as such!! He's a MAN not a boy; to say "boy" implies he's MUCH younger and I immediately think of someone in his teens at maximum!!! Peculiar phrasing!!!
