Status Updates From Pantheism

I am sympathetic to L.'s claims about the differences between pantheism and other theological and metaphysical doctrines.

I'm not sure if I agree with his responses to Schopenhauer et al. though: I know that S.'s characterization is misleading, but his point about the vacuity in calling the Unity "God" still seems to bite for me, specially considering L.'s take on divinity and the the motivations behind pantheism.

I was only planning to read the first 20 pages

I found this book after googling what I believe in. This is a book with the most philosophical/religion thoughts which I have read in my life. If I can manage to think at around something like Level 1 philosophy, this book is probably Level 2 or 3+. It ain’t easy to follow all of the ideas and modules of ideas in this book, but there is some Level 1 stuff as well, been enjoying it so far

Thank god for libraries ... damn Routledge and their 100 dollar books *grumblegrumble*
