stephen… how regrettable that she set her heart on such a comp-het woman. angela irritates me at times and even angers me, especially how she keeps rejecting stephen whenever they’re about to do more than just kiss but then goes to scotland and fucks roger of all people. but after their confrontation, when stephen gives her the ring, i think i’m more sympathetic of her… so far this is really great.

I never despised a character that hasn't commited crimes or is a villain as much as I despise Stephen.

GODDD this book is so good and it makes so so sad. genuinely brilliant and life changing and i’m not even a third through
