There is something really horrible going on now and I tell you, stars are dropping from this rating...!!

I really *hate* it when there's soo much lost time for the main couple for NO reason ! It gives me real heartache and then whatever makeup goes in later tastes bitter anyway... I hope this can be mended, 'cause I'm loosing all hope.

Chapter 40: OMG! This is not finished: I checked and Ch 40 was posted this month so it is still a WIP!!! I'm gonna die. Now my percents are all off. I didn't realize it was unfinished. GRRRRR! I'm posting this review. If I need to update it I can later. Dang!!

End chapter 38: yep, her high-and-mighty Ladyship made her appearance and her opinions known as Pemberley. I knew it. One down, one to go. I still say the head of that snake was not cut off. Guess we'll see. At the beginning of chapter 39, the author issued a caveat that it gets worse before it gets better. I think that secret is about to be revealed and our final enemy will appear. LA! Can I bear it?

End Chapter 37: many of ODC's problems have FINALLY been worked out. That 'common-sense-stunted' child-bride has finally found her bearings. However, I have a bad feeling... we are too close to the end here and there are villains still on the loose. I suspect the head of that snake was not cut off and it is ready to strike again. Will this story ever end?

Took a break from D&E and traveled to India. Lizzy's brother James was serving in the Arny and there were several Historical incidences the author tied in with the fighting there. James finally returned to English soil. Lizzy is finally thinking that perhaps she was wrong in believing Wickham. Duh!! You dingbat. Everyone keeps saying she is very young. No, she is very stupid.

Chapter 26 just broke my heart. I want to shake that childish Lizzy until her head rattles. OMG! Wickham, that SBRB, has struck gold in this gullible child bride. What horrible thing has he done? My mind is reeling and I hope it is not what I think. This is just horrid. I want to string the SBRB up by his thumbs. I use to think Lydia was stupid... this Lizzy puts her to shame. Dang!

Chapter 24: SBRB: Yeah, you know what I mean. That scum-bag-rat-bastard was spewing his lies to Lizzy. What the crap!! Are D&E ever going to settle this mess??? I am ready to pull out my hair. This angst is amazing. The tensions are so tight, you could play a country cheating song on them.

End Part 1: Wickham was only a blip on the radar at this time. DeBourgh showed up and Darcy showed her the door after she insulted Lizzy. Things finally smoothed out between ODC and it looks like it might be OK. Please, for the love of, let this be a good night for them. It started so well. I am scared to death something will happen to throw cold water on their ardor.

Oh! It wasn't De Bourgh that showed up but Wickham. Dang! This has taken a nasty turn. Man!!!

OMG! The sexual tension is almost unbearable. I keep wondering how much longer they can keep their hands off each other. Things are about to pop so I am hoping soon. Lady Catherine has been hinted at since the beginning of the story... so I am expecting her to show up any minute now. It would be just like her to intrude on this newly married couple. Danger! Danger! I have a feeling the fur is about to fly.

Man, thank goodness, the iceberg has started to thaw. This stubborn shrewish Lizzy is getting on my nerves. She misunderstands everything and is a complete terror. The 'she is young' is getting old. Georgiana is only 13 so I guess Lizzy is young. I'll be glad when she outgrows this 'trying stage' in her life. The Elder Darcy has sent D&E to London.

40 chapters: alternate universe: FMS/MOC [forced marriage scenario/marriage of convenience]. Early background story with D&E as children. Bennet works and lives at a university and has a son James. No Mrs. B [thank goodness]. James and Fitzwilliam are good friends until something happens to fracture the friendship. Hard getting into this story the angst and Lizzy's bitterness is hard to read.
