Very choppy. Characters are obscure.

Only 1 chapter in and I’m already shocked at what’s happened.

How can you cook somebody’s family as a birthday present for your child have the persons only family member rue there to watch everyone eat her family but she couldn’t she killed 2 people could’ve been another one but the damn kids wouldn’t let her and then rip out a heart that’s a bomb. Awesome!!

So far so good Rue is finally realizing that the twins father isn’t good but pure evil and he killed his wife because she didn’t love him but he still loves her

Pretty good sterling and Stanton are fighting over rue like worthless dogs. Also there trying to find there mother and bring back her soul well trying to find a heart for rue but isn’t working

Good Westwood almost died and lost his sacred watch and then rue had to give some of her soul to west woods servants

The book is getting interesting somebody tried killing the twins father both of the servants are dying so rue helps them by giving them some of her soul

Westwood suprises me and I realize he’s trying to get his wife back but she probably doesn’t want to come with everything that’s happned

It’s get a little weird with the twins and drabbin always around rue

The book had me surprised from the start did not expect people to pass away especially the way they did and also know rue is not normal at all

The starting to this book had me surprised I did not expect 3 people to die and learn that the main character rue is different from normal people
