Be warned...there's on-page MF sex between one of the MC's and a woman he picked up at a bar while on a trip with the other MC and their friends. Sooooo....there's that. Which I absolutely hate in any MM book I'm reading so before I even finish this one it's already guaranteed one less star than I would have ultimately given in.

I thought this might be perfect for me, however so far it really isn't, it's sad and a little boring, not sure if I can bring myself to continue and the reviews of my gr friends are not really encouraging...

So 30 minutes in and I've gotten a sucker punch...thank heavens I keep my tissues handy. I knew this one wasn't all sunshine and light but holy f*ck!!!! I'm not sure what I was expecting but it wasn't this...my heart hurts.

To me Thomas doesn’t seem to be pining for Ollie like the blurb says, he’s picking up people left and right 🤨

What in the world just happened here? Ollie is plodding along, dealing with his grief, moving forward with baby steps, and today he decides he’s in love. It’s almost as if the author decided to move things along quickly because were over half the book and running out of page time, so to speak. Completely and utterly unbelievable.

A little slow going but I get that. Grief sucks. I’m ready for a shot of happy here. I hope Ollie and Thomas find it. Together. We’ll see.

I'm sorry but shouldn't the baby be about 12 weeks old? If she fell pregnant the night Sam died? or should I be reading they continued to have casual sex after Sam died?

But shouldn't Ollie have been present at the trial anyway? I mean he was a witness, unless the legal system is different over there?

I don't think pushing someone to date after 6 months because they think it's part of the grieving process is OK. Cleo is heading towards my annoying BFF right now.
