Ok, so now apparently Chance is apologizing for stringing Landon along (fine, stringing people along isn't cool) AND "blowing up at you when you wouldn't back off."

Because when someone won't back off with their romantic advances that you've explicitly stated you don't want and they won't stop with, you're supposed to...I don't know what.

I'm actually going to have to take a break from this. I have a limit.

This book is better than the last one, but every time I hit a part where it goes "Chance was wrong to enforce boundaries with someone who wouldn't respect that he didn't want them romantically," I want to scream.

Ok, not off to a good start here. Enforcing your boundaries with someone who refuses to accept that you aren't romantically interested in them even when you've explicitly told them this isn't being an asshole. If the relationship gets messed up, that's not your fault.

not usually nitpicky, but reading the words "give me a Chance" or "give him a Chance" (with capital C) is a little distracting. Probably a result of copy paste or find/replace or something, since the MC's name is Chance
