Status Updates From The Green Pearl and Madouc ...

I just finished the first of this trilogy, called Lyonesse. I thought the writing was a bit heavy handed, and the writer did something that a literary writer would never do- kill of the main character halfway thru the book. It makes it hard to invest in other characters, and leaves one feeling cheated. These books were given to me, and I will finish the series, but am in no big hurry to read other Jack Vance.
