I’ve tapped through the rest of this looking for relevant tips. Many are repeats. Many are obvious. Some are questionable or dangerous. Some are contradictory to others. The book’s organization is absolute crap; good luck finding a specific tip if you need it.

*MY* tip: You have something to fix? Google a solution. It’s quicker.

Most of these tips are typical “life hack” things anyone on the internet has heard a million times. Kind of meh.

TL;DR: Vinegar, baking soda, water, dish soap, olive oil, lemons, rags and duct tape will fix almost any issue you have. It’ll probably look tacky as hell, but it’s an okay short-term solution.

Re: olive oil

Friendly reminder that olive oil—as well as other oils, especially sesame oil—go rancid after a period of time. Shelf life is up to two years if stored properly and unopened, and up to one year for others. You *should* use it within 3-4 months.

Using oils on things around the home should be carefully done. You don’t want your dining table to smell rancid. :)

But why would I waste salt throwing it onto suds in the sink when I could just...wait for the suds to dissipate??

Please don’t put lemon juice on your face.

Please don’t dump vinegar on your scalp to help with greasiness or dandruff.

Please don’t vacuum up straight baking soda; it’s too fine of a powder and may damage the motor.
