rabbit has made his choices. Now let’s see how those choices changed him.

The only reason I’m finishing this book is because I’m obstinate but in our political climate I cannot be assed to read a book about an awful hating women and everyone thinking this is a great American classic.
Yes, the point of the book is that Rabbit is a repugnant man. But at the same time Updike, notorious adulterer, had to get his source material somewhere. I keep thinking “why do they hate us so much.”
