It's such a short book but I already feel like I've learnt some interesting things about how addiction works (or how we think it works). It breaks down the ignorant stereotype of the "lazy/hopeless addict", and emphasizes the importance of safe social connections and a supportive community to both prevent addiction and help sufferers recover
