Status Updates From A Book of the Sea

slow and steady, but really, it's the only way to read this book. Rushing through it would ruin it completely. So far (for the most part) it's been a truly impressive collection of stories.

I don't normally do three at a time, but I couldn't resist the call of this one from the nighstand late last night when I finally wrangled some reading time. So far all of the stories have been good, but Stephen J. Clark's "The Figurehead of Cailleach" is an absolute standout, and I expect Karim Ghahwagi's "The Sorrow of Satan's Book" to be top notch as well.

It's a huge yes, so far.
