We have timed perfectly the content of the book with the liturgical year. We’re heading to Pentecost while we read the lesson of the Holy Spirit, Sweet Guest of the Soul 🤍

Lesson 5!
“A platform is whatever one finds under one’s
self — and the only thing that is meant to be under a Christian is an altar.”
“The rooms we close off are often ones that contain pain that He is just waiting to heal.”
“We don’t have to understand everything that God does in our lives. We simply have to offer ourselves like Mary and say, “Let it be done unto me.”

Finished Lesson 4!
“What has happened to all your joy? I thought about people who had so much less than I, yet simply having salvation through Christ was enough to fill them with gratitude.”
“The question is not CAN He answer the prayer in this way, but will He CHOOSE to answer the prayer in this way.”
“We must ask ourselves if we think God is truly a Father whose will we seek to fulfill.”

Finished Lesson 3!
“If we could only see ourselves through the eyes of God, never losing sight of His unconditional love for us, how amazing our lives would be! We would do everything with the right motive: out of gratitude for all He has given us.”
“Becoming a Christian makes an eternal life-and-death difference to each of us.”

“What would it feel like to submit our personal freedom to someone who had proven Himself to be utterly trustworthy, who promised to never leave us, who was completely selfless to the point of death…What if we weren’t meant to bear the pressure of trying to stay in control all the time?”
“St. Victoria knew who Christ was…And so He was the one Lord who deserved the gift of her life in return.”

“God takes that very weapon and turns it back on the enemy…By allowing the attack to alert His beloved daughters to an area of weakness or woundedness that God wants to strengthen and heal … if we cooperate with the process.”
“There are things in this world that break His heart. Do they break yours?”
“For those who cling to His steadfast love, something glorious and beyond our imaginings will come.”

A heartfelt reminder of God's constant presence and strength in our weakness.
During this period of grief and challenges, I sought explanations. Though the book didn't provide direct answers, it helped me reconnect with the Holy Spirit's grace and the importance of prayer, reminding us that God has a purpose for our lives, even in difficult times. 🕊️
