Status Updates From Valentine: Act I of II

Okay, I tried a few more pages... and I just can't do it right now. Even though the story seems promising and intriguing, I'm going to have to DNF... At least for now.

I just feel like it's not working out and it's way too exhausting to read.

The writing style is actually quite fascinating. There are a lot of prettiness & I do admire what the author is trying to convey in his story... BUT, right now, I just feel so overwhelmed will all the similes & metaphors that it's kind of taking away my excitement.

Also, it's not a very lighthearted read. I have a feeling that even though the story is interesting, it's going to take a while to finish.
