I adoooore the characters but I feel like miles in the second book was kind of eh compared to an amazing first book but this third book is …I’m forcing myself through. No one is likeable and the plot doesn’t exist. It’s just giving kaleb a book but with no development. First book might be where I should have stopped. But here we are.

I love Kamen but the pony subplot is killing me...literally how do I read around it hahaha

Continually amazed at this series’ ability to have have SO many sex scenes that are SO detailed and yet SO not sexy. I read them like “huh…” 🧐🤔

Kamen and Ryan may be the cutest ever. I want to ruffle their hair and cuddle them. Lol

Couldn’t get through. Found it quite boring. The protagonist had already fallen I. Love prior to this book, and that is the journey I am interested in when reading a J.a. Rock book. It was also slow and light which just didn’t seem to capture my interest. Read the books after this in the series and never needed any context from it. Overall an unnecessary edition in the series.

Between the aborted watersports (ewww!) and the upcoming pony play, this book is SO not my jam, More than that, though, I'm confused & put off by the dislike that Kamen's friends have for Ryan. They've ostracized him and actively tried to put doubts in Kamen's head about him. As a reader, I can't be fully behind a relationship that ALL the secondary & previously beloved characters don't like. :(

Darn it... I didn't realize this book was going to start with an established couple. I don't like that - I want to go on the whoooooole journey with them.
