This bizarre junior fiction book is odd. Was strange enough to keep me engrossed, and to finish reading it! It touches on family relationships, bullying, parental expectations and love.

The story starts our strange, and continues to be bizarre! Walter Mortinson lives with his odd mother over the mortuary. His father has died, but he wants to know what happened. The names of the people and places are even odder. I know there has to be a reason for each of the names chosen. Walter invents, just like his father. There are secrets and mysteries in this story.
