Status Updates From Rebirth (The Pretender #1)

Misgendering Chaz in chapter 13 is ick.

I not sure about this book atm I mean what I was hoping for was an ending to the island of the hunted but what I have is a reboot and I love the show and it first season ect I just don’t know the characters are as well rounded as In The show... we will see

So far, not impressed with the writing, grammar, and voice. It feels rushed, like a first draft. There is a disconnected feeling, as if two people are shoving their thoughts into the book. Hope it gets better, loved the tv series.

I still have mixed feelings about this one... The "copy paste" of series sequences annoys me because I was hoping for something new. The timeline is off, well, not sure where this book is suppose to find itself in the story... so far the action is great but there are so many elements similar to series episodes that I'm still unsure if the main plot will end-up being the one I'm thinking about or a new one...

Not enjoying much so far...

Not because it is not well written but because it is, change a few details, the script of the episode at the hospital where Jarod is a surgeon, with the drunk heart surgeon who severed the spinal chord of a little boy with the Greek lady asking the famous words "Are you a doctor?" "I am today."

Lines from the episode are there word for word. I thought it would be new material...
