Status Updates From Cryptonomicon

This is a monster of a book, ive read 13.5 hours and we are only 32% done lol! This book follows three characters, two duing WWII, and one of their grandsons in the late 90s. I think the main part of the book centers around code breakers in WWII. But im not exactly where its going yet.
