Painstaking read so far. So much detail and none of it is really productive or interesting. Like I don’t care that the woman from Mongolia has a Mongolian accent and pronounces words with an accent. It doesn’t move the narrative or help me understand her as a person. Rant over, but I should’ve taken some of the other reviews to heart before buying.

I seem to find myself in the middle of three very different books. The other two, Lord Valentine’s Castle and Warriors OF God both jumped out at me on the to read pile and demanded to be started. I’m not sure which will dominate my reading. The other two seem to be taking precedence right now.
