I haven’t read a slow-paced book in a long time so this is a little challenging

Here we go

This book is huge, so it’s early pages still, but I’m thinking two things:

1) The prose. So gorgeous. How does a 21st c 28 y.o. write like this? Devastated.

2) Why doesn’t the Booker choose such amazing books anymore? Again, devastated.
