Status Updates From Blood Rain (Aurelio Zen, #7)

In ended in a very "James Bond" way with a twist at the end.

I won't spoil the end for you, suffice it to say there is a very interesting game of chess, an interesting 2nd date, an interesting ferry ride, and a plane ride going to somewhere unexpected.

So, we have the two women having lunch together, where Corrina (the elder of the two) tells the daughter of Zen her story of her mother.

They then agree to go out together, to vacation on an island. While that's going on, Zen gets a call concerning his mother, so he hops a flight to see her, thinking she is near death.

So, here we have Mr. Zen, who works for the Italian police, Ms. Arilletto, who is with the Anti Mafia Unit of Italy, and the adopted daughter of Mr. Zen, who works in IT of the Anti Mafia Unit

A body of unknown origin, is found on a cargo train. Nobody knows who it is or when it was put on the train. In the meantime, Mr Zen's daughter finds an unusual hack in the coding of one of their programs.
