This was a sly through for me. I didn't connect with the characters. Their story wasn't the problem just the way they were written didn't connect. Some of it is language/slang and some of it was just the edit. Anyway it just a so so read for me

Language is starting to be a problem for me. I understand that his a Kiwi and some of will creep in but somehow it's disrupting the flow even when his not in the scene as it were.
