Love the themes. Currently learning how people manipulate or get manipulated to stay in bad relationships through control (control through jealousy, or guilt or even weakness). I will say. I wish they made the book bigger or more pages. So many small words in one page. Like the page is legit filled in words not even broken down with paragraphs LOL! But I love learning so it’s okay

Tough read. Definitely more psych (I.e. introducing social experiments and the results they gathered). Have to put the book down to discuss with Mario after every five pages. lol. Told him that my father made me feel safest and loved. And apparently in the book. You end up being with a partner who resembles the parent that made you feel safest. Now I’m drawing parallels and Mario is like “ok. W.e that means”

About the self-deception as a person addiction to another person. It could be hard for somebody to be independent when it has been dependent for so long. It could be hard in any relationship to make a clear separation better sooner than later. I and you, we are together but the two both is the division of three people. Of course, having in mind a smart person — Albert Eaistain.
