big bad finally showed up!!

Finally got back to reading this with Noah today! the story is definitely starting to pick up and i’m looking forward to where Hamilton’s life goes next.

two more chapters down! this protagonist is still spectacularly unlikeable but i think we’re working on it.

second chapter also pretty solid! it’s been really weird to space this book out over days that will probably end up being weeks as i typically just binge a book in an evening or two. but honestly it’ll probably be good for me to slow down.

at this current moment, the main character is a little unlikeable. but i think he’s supposed to be. looking forward to that character arc.

reading this with my partner these next couple months. he’s not too into reading so i’m hoping that having him choose the genre and book at least helps with that. first chapter was pretty decent but it about what i expect from a sci-fi young adult book at this point.

this book is hilarious. it's amazingly ridiculous to read in the pov of such a narcissistic teenaged boy

Not really enjoying this main character....he's a stuck up egotistical a-hole

I really hope this gets better...not really feeling it yet
