Status Updates From Good Dog (Scholastic Gold)

I hate the narration which keeps repeating phrases, trust me, believe me over and over again. And I still don’t get the whole soul light exchange. Why would this exist?

Seriously there is so much pull to put this book down. Why or who is this book for? What religious preaching is this? I hate the narrator. It is so repetitive and annoying.

Who is this book for? Why are there dogs fightjng in the afterlife?

We can’t die…. And the dead dog and cat can? I am so confused.

Why do they have to be black hell hounds?

Why would hell-hounds exist in the afterlife?

I think my biggest issue is that dogs get a keener understanding when they are dead.

It is better but still not captivating…at this point I just want it to get to the end.

Why would there be hellhounds? That want to eat souls? Like why would that exist?

I was reading this with my middle schooler but she tapped out. I am continuing on my own. I hope it picks up

Bad dogs!?! Is there such a thing? I am disappointed that the author declared that such a thing exist.
