Nevsky Prospekt: HOLY FUCKING SHIT THAT WAS AMAZING. so deliciously funny yet aggressive in it's satire/critique of *everything*, this story should be up there among the big three (The Overcoat, The Nose, and Diary of a Madman)!!! God I love Gogol

How Ivan Ivanovich Quarreled with Ivan Nikiforovich: amazing! so fucking funny yet laced with such deep sadness and tragedy. tiny little moments of huge and hilarious fuckassery that is so unique and singular to Gogol
