honestly this is the type of book like that reminds me how to “feel” again

love love love his essays. i was not expecting this to be about music artists but im so happy that it is. my fav essays so far are the ones about chance the rapper, SchoolboyQ, and The Weeknd. i am a fan of the weeknd and i felt like he was a tab bit overcritical. but honestly most of it was based. especially his point that despite seeming like intimate music, the weeknd’s audiences are never physically close.
