Been listening to this one on hoopla during many bus rides around Palestine as I continue to unlearn, deconstruct, and critique evangelicalism I’ve lived and breathed in my life and education. This is giving me helpful language and evidence to back up my angst towards the way evangelical work and missions have and continue to perpetuate white imperialism. (Chapter 4 on the “Holy Land” is really shaking me)

Very eye-opening to the history of how we have the brand of evangelical beliefs and stereotypes that we know in the west and where it spread worldwide.
