Patchy. The art is good throughout but the stories vary considerably. Grey Gargoyle one was over stretched and silly in the end, the Harlem ones cringeworthy, the HYDRA v Femme Force… not as bad as I thought despite the misjudged idea.

It's so strange how many comics written around this time were hellbent on inspiring fear of black people being against racists? Like this and Teen Titans and some of those Luke Cage comics were written by white men who were terrified their black friends would suddenly stop being okay with being killed in the streets?

Captain Americop beating up some hoodlums. This era wasn’t great for representation of black characters, tbh. This combined with Falcon’s “plight” is questionable. Although, I still enjoy the Cap bits overall
