I think I like the story, after 40 pages; however, this novel commits the heinous crime of semicolon abuse, as nearly every. single. paragraph. has at least one semicolon.

Aside from a few proofreading errors/interesting punctuation choices, it’s...interesting. I can’t tell if it feels magical or just stilted. But I will admit I’m intrigued.
