• Every Christian is a missionary, where & who do I minister should be a question we ask

Acts could be titled, “The Acts of the Lord Jesus through the Apostles and the Church by the power of the Spirit” which is continued today.

Jesus calls us to be his witnesses! No believer is a mere fan but player! Every Christian is a missionary. From the neighborhood to the nations, and God uses ordinary people to advance the gospel to the lost.

i’ve never read the Bible like i do with the Christ-centered expositions as my companion. the nuggets of exegetical wisdom in this book are countless and life-changing. merida is pastoral and anecdotal yet scholarly in his writing. on one page we will use a tom brady quote and another an excerpt from john calvin’s commentary on acts. i am in awe of God’s continuing of His mission theough His Spirit.

New insights on a classic book of scripture. Being reminded of the original and unchanged mission of the church fills me with desire and fervor to spread the Gospel far and wide.
