Liking this one so far. I can't wait to get to know the characters better. A lot of Open your eyes thus far has been about whether she will accept the bond and what a bonded one is.

Now this is starting to get good :)

Once we hit 25% and the first of the gods was introduced, things started to pick up. Very slow start before that.

It's Olympics time so I'm not actually reading much. I'm knitting and reteaching my dog how to cuddle while watching sports that I generally have no interest in but every two years, become a fanatic of.

Couldn't finish. Characters were flat and the setting was so terribly wrong. She writes NYC as if it's Iowa. Every time something happened with travel and transport, I was jerked out of the story.

This book is quite frankly, awful. It’s going into my DNF pile for now. My rating thus far is 2 stars ⭐️ based upon grammar/sentence errors, setting issues, storyline issues, very clear biased opinion of men without any real validity as to why, common RH trope of girl has a bad parent and may have possibly been harmed as a kid, is SO attractive to everyone she meets, etc.
