Jayne did an amazing job balancing Gabriel's tortured past with his awakening future. She was able to share enough of his angst and issues without completely alienating those of faith. Everly was a perfect compliment to Gabriel and managed to be strong yet supportive. I would have loved to see more of Goliath and hope to see more of them all in future books!
