The title should be “brainless in Mumbai” because the sexism in this book was unbearable for me. I wanted to punch the husband so bad. Besides, the exaggeration associated with the maid hunt was also stupid.
This book fails at both extremes. Not only the working women’s lives is stupidly depicted but also the wife seems fine with the sexism. More than funny, this one seemed painfully difficult to digest.
